FAQs About Our Camp Physical Exams

Camp physical exams are essential for your child before going to the summer or any other camp to identify any health issues prior to participating in adventurous activities. These exams ensure that your child’s health is ready to perform in flow physically. It helps address any health concerns before and manage the risk of injuries or illness.

At Priority Urgent Care, we offer walk-in appointment facilities along with flexible appointment options to help you manage the timings within your busy schedule and make your child ready for camp in the respective time you have.

You need to complete the paperwork provided by the camp in which your child is participating and bring it during the medical exam. Bring your child’s previous medical records, medication prescriptions, necessary medical devices your child may use (inhaler, eyewear, etc.), and vaccination records. Make your child wear loose-fitting clothes during a visit to ensure a proper review without restriction. Furthermore, prepare your list of queries to discuss any concerns with the doctor.

It is recommended to schedule your child’s examination appointment 4-6 weeks before the camp start date. This one-month or one-and-a-half-month period will help you address any health concerns and do lifestyle modifications and additional vaccines as needed to make your child perfectly fit for the adventurous journey.
